The Principals
Karen Hill, Managing Partner

Karen A. Hill is a Managing Partner of Collina Ventures.  Karen founded Baker Hill in 1983 after working at FNB Denver, later acquired by Wells Fargo.  Her pioneering work on an Apple IIe to automate the analysis of financial statements led her to start the company in her living room on an IBM PC.

Over the course of 20 years, she built a business that served over 1000 banks, primarily in the US, but also in Australia and Asia.  In 2005 the business was acquired by Experian and was successfully transitioned for employees, clients, stockholders and Experian.

She raised three daughters, supported their schools and communities in various capacities and inspired Baker Hill to serve the community of Central Indiana.  She began her career with Touche Ross in Chicago, holds a BA from St. Marys College in Notre Dame, Indiana and and a MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
